Missed My Poetry Readings?

Updated: Dec 15, 2021

What a year this has been! The second edition of my book was released and despite the pandemic, I stayed busy as a writer.

As the end of 2021 nears, I want to thank you for all your support and wish you and your family love, good health and peace.

If you're looking for a gift, consider purchasing my book, Freedom Knows My Name via my website, your local bookstore or online.

We're all busy these days but in case you missed some of my events, here's a few you can watch:

Interview with Poetry Matters Project (y'all I was so tired this day from staying up all night editing. Hope you enjoy).

The panel discussion based on the article I wrote. How did "Casanova" become a song that nearly every brass band in New Orleans plays? In a conversation moderated by Melissa A Weber (aka DJ Soul Sister), Harris-DeBerry offers an answer to that question, along with founding member of Rebirth Brass Band Keith Frazier, former music director of LeVert Micheal Ferguson, and sole surviving member of the LeVert Trio Marc Gordon.

Delgado Reading Series. I am the first reader and Q/A follows.

Nov. 12th Louisiana Book Festival

Look for more poems and projects from me in 2022.

God Bless,

Kelly
